Just back from my Sunday morning breakfast

On the way home, dad suggested to get some Tiong Bahru Paus for my grandma. Therefore, I took a turn and head for Tiong Bahru market.

The market is in between two one way carriage road. When I got there, I let my mom and bro alight and they went to get the paus while I took a turn and waited her on the other side. Its a 2 lane carriage with one line of parking slots on the side. For the uninformed readers, its almost impossible to get a parking slot along these two streets, thanks to the famous market. Especially on Sundays, you will see tai tais and aunties rushing for the grocery and food.

Unable to find a parking lot, I stopped beside the unloading bay. Hoping no one will notice me and traffic will flow smoothly. Everything was well till my kuku bro pop his head. I thought it was a signal that they are done, so I shifted my car closer to the front where he was standing.

The best thing happened now. When I moved in front, my kuku bro turned his head and disappear back into the market again!!! These words started to run wild in my head, "What the hack?! What the hack?! What the..."

Now, I cannot shift back. Only choice, forward. I saw this car waiting in front. So I quietly slide my Corolla behind him. Again hoping no one will notice me again. Things were not that nice this time. Within seconds, the car in front left. Leaving me alone occupying the whole lane.

The location was jus about 20m from the traffic junction. And by parking there, I think I am what they call, obstructing the traffic. Haha, yaya I know I know, just acting blur to reduce my guiltiness. Back to the adventure, the whole lane was occupied by me, YES!!! Only me. Every car that drove pass me, I can feel they must be cursing and swearing behind that glass window. Hey, wake up to reality lar, are you none of you did this before? I am sure every driver will have done something like this once in his driving years. CARS are made cause there are lazy people like me walking on this earth. One handy rule passed to me from my other driver friends, and will like to pass it one. it speaks, On the road, no such things as traffic rules one, it just the biggest bad ass out there will win.

One driver drove past me, and held his horn when he drove past. My sis and I, stared at him and said the word "siao" came out together in numinous. Its not planned, really!!!

Another aunty in the passenger seat, raised her hand behind the window and I interpreted what she is trying to say. "aiyo, so inconsiderate, obstruct the traffic like that." As a sign of politeness, I raised my hand back at her, trying to convey this message to her, "what you looking at? Sua ku never see before people park like that ah!"

Anyway, here is the message of the day. Drive safely. *blink blink*
